I added captures from one of my favorite Channing movies, She’s the Man, to the gallery:
We’re only two months in, but 2012 is quickly shaping up to be The Year of Channing Tatum. His movie The Vow is crushing the competition, he kicked butt in Haywire, 21 Jump Street’s early buzz is already high (we’ve known it would be a winner since we visited the set last year) and he still has G.I. Joe: Retaliation and Magic Mike down the road.
Now we can throw on the Blu-ray release of Tatum’s dramatic crime thriller The Son of No One, which featured the actor alongside Katie Holmes and the legendary Al Pacino. As you’ll be able to see in these exclusive clips, we’re not the only ones raving about Channing Tatum. Holmes has a bit of a soft spot for the guy too.

Way back in June of 2011, we were among the lucky few editors picked to go hang out with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum IRL. Unfortunately it wasn’t like, a Caribbean vacay or anything, but we traveled long and hard from NYC down to sweltering hot New Orleans to hang out on the set of their new movie, 21 Jump Street. You’ve prob seen the trailer by now and whatever, but we’re going to give you a way more detailed version of the movie and a PLAY-BY-PLAY of our visit. Which basically means TONS of details on how hot Channing is in person, how funny Jonah is in real life, and what it’s like to sit this close to Dave Franco. Oh, and we also have a never-before-seen clip from the movie that we actually got to see being filmed. So freakin’ cool.
Keep clicking through for our set-visit play-by-play!
Part One: Watching Them Film a High School Scene
The movie stars Channing and Jonah as cops going undercover as high school students as they try to get rid of a drug problem in their former school, and we got to GO TO THE HIGH SCHOOL THEY WERE FILMING AT! Cool, right? Well, actually it was about 95 degrees there but we digress. When we arrived on set, we got to watch Dave and his on-screen girlfriend, Brie Larson, and the rest of the movie’s “popular kids” film a scene outside the school. They did about 8 takes or so and once they got the perfect one, they head inside into air-conditioning and, thankfully, so did we…

Channing was on Saturday Night Live last night and he did an incredible job! You can watch the entire episode HERE and view captures in the gallery:
He’s been married for nearly three years, but Channing Tatum isn’t slowing down when it comes to wooing wife Jenna Dewan.
“I see caring for somebody as a creative outlet,” The Vow actor, 31, told PEOPLE at a press gathering for the movie last week.
“I like drawing little faces and writing little stories and hiding them in places.”
His love notes to Dewan, 31, don’t come without a twist of humor, though.
“I’m a practical joker. My favorite one is putting one under the toilet seat,” he said with a laugh. “She always wakes up before I do, so I enjoy the surprise of ‘Haha! I got you!’ ”
In his latest role, Tatum plays a husband who has to make his wife fall in love with him again after she loses her memory in an accident. The star admits that sometimes it’s easy to get “distracted … and forget about being thoughtful” in everyday life.
But it sounds like Dewan is one of the lucky ones when it comes to partners. “I don’t think it’s that hard to be thoughtful,” said Tatum, “especially when you do care about the person.”
After turns in The Notebook and The Time Traveler’s Wife, Rachel McAdams has the lock on serious romance onscreen – but off, it’s all fun and (dirty) games with The Vow costar Channing Tatum.
“Channing got the props department to make a prosthetic, um, member,” the actress, 33, tells U.K magazine Stella of filming the upcoming movie’s nude scene.
“Literally a fake penis. I didn’t know what to do – I thought, ‘Is that the real deal?’ It was very realistic. It was ridiculous, the scale of it!”
